Happy Spring!

We are so excited to be hosting our spring banquet this Tuesday, March 28th at 7PM! We will be doing awards, inducting the new executive board, and reflecting on our year thus far. DRESS CODE IS SEMI-FORMAL. This can include prom or cocktail dresses, suits, etc. We will be in the Yellowhammer Room of Gorgas Library (floor 2. Turn right at the front desk, and go through the doors at the far right).
Applications for chair positions will be sent out this week. Be on the lookout for a GroupMe message!
Upcoming Events and Service Opportunities:
    • Tuesday (3/28): CKI Spring banquet! 7pm in the Yellowhammer room in Gorgas. See above for more details.
    • Thursday (3/30): Food pantry shifts available. Sign up here. 
    • Tuesday (4/4): Game night! School is stressful. Take an hour to hang out and play a game made by your very own CKI president 😉

 Reminders:

  • You can find online service hour opportunities here!
  • Do any service outside of CKI? Awesome! Don’t forget to submit your hours here, under “Submit Service Hours!”
  • Any student can chair a service project they’re passionate about, just let us know so we can get started!
  • DUES ARE OVERDUE. Students coming in during the spring semester are $25. Members who paid in the fall do not need to pay again. Pay in cash to Jesse or Venmo @UACircleK-International
    • In the description, include: first and last name, T-shirt size, and graduation month and year
    • dues go towards international membership, a T-shirt, goodies at the end of the year, and funding for needed club materials
  • NEW MEMBER REQUIREMENTS: to become a member, you must obtain and log at least 6 service hours, attend a New Member Orientation, attend 5 meetings throughout the semester, and pay dues for the year.
